Though I love the world of 'Looney Toons', I think that'd be a bit painful. It's true that nobody ever dies, but that steamroller... .ouch!

How many computers do you have in your house?

On my desk, I have two, the PC and a mac ibook running Ubuntu Linux.
There is a broken one just over *there* (I broke it) - it used to be my firewall.
There's a fourth which appears in the house from time to time, a laptop, though it's now at work and doesn't count.
How many languages can you speak? Which languages can you read or understand?
Fluently: One - English
I have modest French (it should be better)
I have a few words of Catalan (though I'd need to remind myself), Spanish, Italian, German and Bengali.
Of these, the one I'd really like to be fluent in is Bengali, but I'd love to be fluent in any second language!
If you could watch any movie on the big screen right at this moment, what would it be?
Probably the best movie in the world (whoops, that's Heineken, but people who know the film will get the reference, I hope).
If you could only save one thing in a house fire (thing, not person), what would it be and why?

Easy...
Given that all my important photos are on flickr, (except my wedding photos, and I have the negs in a drawer at work), given that books and CDs can be replaced, and all that jazz.... given that my cats can run, and if they don't run I'd never be able to grab them from their hideyholes.... it'd have to be my diary (preferably the block of diaries).
What's your favorite song to sing karaoke-style? If you don't have one, why not?
I'll sing most things karaoke, hence no favourite.
The bottom line for me is that I must at least be able to almost sing the song without the bouncing ball.
I really like karaoke.... in the right crowd.
What is your favorite children's movie?
Lots of people will probably say 'Toy Story' or 'The Incredibles', but whilst these are films that children can enjoy, they're also aimed at the adult (Buzz... I am your father....)
The Jungle Book is a favourite, but similarly the audience at release was a lot more mixed.
No, for this question it has to be a film targetted squarely at the kids and not at the adult at all.
... erm, haven't got one. I'll watch things that are 'labelled' as 'kids' films, but if they don't have something more to them, I'm not interested, never have been. Even as a kid I found 'pure' kids films to be patronising and, frankly, boringly predictable. Although I couldn't have explained why I didn't like them.
Oh, go on then... lets include things which have a wider audience too.
